Position: Sales Manager Checkout, City Gross Häggvik

About the job
Position type: Temporary position of 40 hours per week until 2027-02-28
Start date: 2026-03-02 or by agreement.
Working hours: Early mornings, daytime, as well as some evenings and weekends are a natural part of the job.
What will you do?
Every day offers a fast pace and new challenges, but some of your main tasks will include:
- Be responsible for the Checkout Line, “Shop Quickly” self-checkout, and the Service Desk with games and café.
- Be responsible for planning, leading, and developing the checkout team - both strategically and operationally. You will have team leaders and a group of skilled employees to assist you, for whom you also have personnel responsibility.
- Be responsible for daily operations, staffing, and continuously developing the checkout line with a focus on delivering a good customer meeting.
- Be responsible for creating, developing, and maintaining daily checkout routines and working methods within, for example, cash handling and cash reporting.
- Participate and assist other management group leaders in developing the store's sales and profitability, actively engage in sales management/sales planning, shrinkage, and self-control.
- Together with your employees, drive the department and develop the business and employees towards set goals.
- Ensure a pleasant, efficient, and sales-oriented work environment.
You will be part of the store's management team and report to the Store Manager.
Who are you?
- You are strongly results-oriented and work effectively to optimize the department's results and achieve set goals.
- You are skilled at creating and developing teams, are communicative and clear. You have a coaching approach, which means you delegate, provide feedback, and follow up on the work.
- You have the ability to inspire, motivate, and engage employees to create a positive work environment and a customer experience that exceeds expectations.
- You take on your role in the management team with great responsibility and can combine operational store work with actively contributing to strategic development issues.
- We place great emphasis on your personal qualities, especially regarding your ability to inspire and engage employees to create a positive work environment.
We believe that you:
- Have a high school education and master Swedish in speech and writing. Since our customers speak more languages than that, it would be fantastic if you do too.
- Have several years of retail experience, preferably in a leadership position.
- If you have experience from another role with personnel responsibility, store economics, sales responsibility, staffing, and scheduling, this is an advantage.
- Have good knowledge of ATG/Svenska spel and sales.
- Are passionate about delivering a good customer meeting.
- Are relationship-building and action-oriented with a great interest in customer service, people, and groceries.
